I did this 5" X 7" painting 2 months ago, but finished it yesterday. I keep chickens who lay pink, green, blue and white eggs, so I like to put these beautiful eggs in paintings. I'm off to Princeton today to do some landscape painting. I'll post my efforts in the next few days.

I love the contrast of eggs with seashells - both natural beauties. A teacher once told me that the shape of an egg was the most difficult thing to paint! I think you have conquered it! love,b
