Warm Roses

Here is my first effort at flowers. Because the petals are translucent, the technique for painting them is different from painting opaque objects. I'll work on this.

Meanwhile, back in the studio, I'm gearing up for some daily painting this summer by organizing and rearranging different areas of the studio. My puppy, Jasper, has other ideas. He thinks the contents of the paper recycling would look better as a floor covering.
